First stage

- Compact machined first stage based on the expedition-tested Apeks DS4 platform.
- The innovative over-moulded first stage end cap and environmental diaphragm prevent ice build-up which can cause the first stage to flow freely in extreme circumstances. It also protects the first stage from impact damage.
- The large-area heat exchanger diaphragm clamp increases the gas temperature inside the first stage, improving chilled water performance.
- Unique over-balanced diaphragm design - as the plunger descends, the over-balancing function allows the medium-pressure gas in the hose to rise faster than the ambient temperature.
- The result is superior performance at depth.

Second stage

- The second stage is compact and lightweight, improving comfort and helping to reduce jaw fatigue on long dives.
- High-performance, pneumatically balanced, lever-operated poppet valve.
- Large, over-moulded, self-cleaning and controllable purge knob
- Ergonomic Venturi lever is easy to use and locate.
- Braided nylon hose offers better cold water performance than traditional rubber hose
- Standard metal hose connector for interchangeability
- Comfo-bite mouthpiece has a unique bridge that conforms to the upper palate and requires no pressure to stay in place
- Reusable mouthpiece clip makes it easy to change mouthpieces in the field
- Durable, flexible rubber exhaust tee provides excellent bubble deflection
