FUNCTIONS

First stage

• - Satin plated brass body with heat exchange ribs for maximum thermal performance.
• - New innovation with an over-moulded first stage end cap and environmental diaphragm to prevent ice build-up that can cause continuous first stage flow in extreme circumstances. Also protects the first stage from impact damage.
• - Ribbed diaphragm clamp to improve heat exchange in cold water.
• - Unique overcompensated diaphragm design - as the plunger descends, the overcompensation function allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to rise faster than ambient. The result is superior performance at depth.
• - 5 medium-pressure ports, 4 of which are mounted on a rotating turret for better hose orientation.
• - 2 angled high-pressure ports for optimum hose routing and transmitter installation.
• - Double swivel hose for greater freedom of movement and comfort.
• - Easy-grip, over-moulded DIN clamping knob, requiring only one hand to release.

Second stage

Frost-resistant technology

• - Featuring the same frost-resistant technology as the entire MTX-R range, the MTX-RC regulator withstands excessive flow in even the coldest temperatures, while offering the user the added flexibility of adjusting settings for more comfortable breathing in less extreme environments.
