Shearwater Teric Journeys Edition Bronze Dive Computer

The Shearwater Teric Journeys Edition Bronze carries the full electronics of the Teric dive computer in a distinctive bronze finish. This variant of the Teric range is aimed at divers who want a watch-style instrument they can wear every day and underwater, without giving up the capabilities expected from a technical dive computer.

A bronze finish for the Teric range

This edition is set apart by its bronze tone applied to the instrument's housing. The bezel and buttons are made of 316 stainless steel, the lens is sapphire, and the protective case is made of ballistic nylon polymer. The whole unit keeps the compact form factor of the Teric body, designed to be worn out of the water like a watch.

AMOLED colour display and data readout

The display is a colour AMOLED screen with a size of 3,53 cm and a resolution of 400 x 400. The pixel density and vivid colours make dive data easy to read under varying light conditions. Navigation is button-driven, with structured menus and switchable audible and vibration alerts.

Seven dive modes, from recreational to technical

The Teric Journeys Edition Bronze offers seven modes: Air, Nitrox, 5-gas Nitrox, OC TEC with Trimix enabled, CC/BO with fixed PPO2 for closed-circuit rebreathers, a Gauge mode with bottom timer and dive logging, and a Freediving mode with configurable sampling rates and alarms. An optional Avelo unlock is also available. The computer manages 5 open-circuit gases and 5 closed-circuit gases, covering recreational diving as well as planned decompression on full Trimix.

Air integration and instrumentation

The instrument is air-integration ready and supports up to 4 pressure transmitters. It includes a 3-axis tilt-compensated digital compass, Bluetooth wireless technology for synchronisation, and upgradable firmware. The dive log holds a capacity of 500 hours at a 10-second sampling rate.

Battery life and wireless charging

The Teric runs on an internal rechargeable Li-ion battery, factory-replaceable, with a capacity of about 1,9 Wh. Battery life reaches up to 30 hours in dive mode and up to 50 hours in watch mode. Charging is done through the supplied wireless charging dock.

Dimensions and physical characteristics

The body measures 54,5 mm x 53,5 mm with a thickness of 17,5 mm, and the computer weighs 120,4 g. The instrument is depth-rated to 200 m. The Remora quick-release band ships installed on the instrument, and a short Remora band is included for smaller wrists.
