The first stage F30 diaphragm completely isolates the regulator core from the external environment, ensuring greater reliability and making it particularly suitable for diving in icy or turbid water.
Operation is ensured by a balanced diaphragm system that keeps the intermediate pressure absolutely constant in relation to the internal pressure of the cylinder and the depth reached.
The air passes through a piston whose movement is controlled by a membrane. The plunger receives equal pressure from both sides, which allows the outlet pressure to be maintained independently of the cylinder pressure. It is made by turning a brass monoblock protected by two layers of electro-galvanic coating.
The internal parts are made of chrome and/or nickel plated brass with stainless steel harmonic springs and nitrile rubber seals. Particular attention has been paid to the separating diaphragm, which is made of a special rubber that is unalterable and resistant to low temperatures.
The first stage of the F30 is completed by a rotating turret with five 3/8 "x24UNF low pressure outlets (one at the head) with a constant outlet pressure of about 10 bar (upstream pressure up to 300 bar). The rotating turret ensures easy connection to the low pressure hoses for any accessory.
It also has two high pressure outlets with 7/16" X 20 UNF threads. A pressure gauge can be connected to these high pressure outlets by means of a hose with a 7/16" male threaded end.
The first stage F30 is available with a DIN 300 threaded connection (ISO 12209 max. pressure 300 bar) according to EN 250:2014.
