UNDERSEA Ltd has manufactured filling and gas distribution equipment for professional diving since 1970. The 1232 is a wall-mounted filling manifold bar machined from chrome-plated brass. It is rated to a maximum working pressure of 414 bar. Ten G1/4 BSP outlets span its 420mm length. This allows fill-room operators to connect a full rack of cylinders to one compressor line simultaneously. It is a standard fixture in BSAC clubs, commercial diving operations and technical diving centres across the UK and Europe.
Three advantages separate the 1232 from smaller UNDERSEA blocks: permanent wall mounting for a clean install, ten G1/4 BSP outlets for high-throughput filling, and a 414 bar chrome-brass body built to handle continuous daily use in humid compressor rooms.
The UNDERSEA 1232 filling manifold is manufactured in the United Kingdom. As a pressure-bearing component in a breathing-gas distribution system, it falls within the scope of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) for EU member states. Installation and periodic inspection must be carried out by a competent person. Further guidance is available from the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC).
