The auto-locking ORBIT 2LOCK orange suits anchor building at multi-pitch belay stations. It connects positioning lanyards during rope access work. It attaches belay devices and ascenders to harness directly. The D-shape handles belay plates more cleanly than an HMS-shaped connector. This proves useful on long alpine routes, British gritstone crack climbs and caving SRT pitches. Orange colour meets IRATA colour coding for positioning connectors.

Periodic inspection and service life

This is a category III personal protective equipment item. The user must perform a visual check before every use. A competent person must carry out a formal inspection at least once every 12 months.
