Featuring the same freeze-resistant technology as the entire MTX-R range, the MTX-RC resists free-flow in even the coldest temperatures, while offering the user the ability to adjust settings for more comfortable breathing in less extreme environments. All this is possible thanks to an innovative first stage design that protects the regulator from freezing and a full set of user controls on the second stage to adjust breathing performance to suit the diver's individual needs. FUNCTIONALITIES

First stage

• - Satin-finish brass body with heat exchange ribs for maximum thermal performance.
• - The innovative over-moulded first stage end cap and environmental diaphragm prevent the build-up of ice that can cause the first stage to flow freely in extreme circumstances. It also protects the first stage from impact damage.
• - Ribbed diaphragm clamp to improve heat exchange in cold water conditions.
• - Unique over-balanced diaphragm design - as the diver descends, the over-balancing function allows the medium-pressure gas in the hose to rise faster than ambient pressure. The result is superior performance at depth.
• - 5 medium-pressure ports, 4 of which are mounted on a rotating turret for better hose orientation.
• - 2 angled high-pressure ports for optimum hose routing and transmitter mounting.
• - Double swivel hose for greater freedom of movement and comfort.
• - Overmoulded DIN wheel, easy to grip, requiring only one hand to release.
• - DIN 300bar, 232bar thread.
• - Octopus tested - EN250A up to 60 metres in cold water.
• - Compatible with nitrox and oxygen - up to 40% O2 outside the EU (European Union), in the EU anything above 21% O2 must use an M26 connection.

Second stage

• - Protective bumper to protect the second stage from impacts and scratches in the most vulnerable areas.
• Ergonomic, easy-to-use venturi lever.
• - Oversized breathing effort adjuster for easy adjustment in cold water when wearing gloves.
• - Large purge button.
• - Reversible second stage for left or right-hand gas supply configuration.
• - A patented heat exchanger dissipates the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing heat from the surrounding water for more comfortable breathing.
• - It features an innovative Diver-Controlled Exhaust (DCE) system. This system gives the diver the option of switching from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee. The regulator is supplied with two sets of exhaust tees.
• - Comfo-bite mouthpiece
