Technical Specifications
- - Compensated second stage for smooth and easy breathing.
- - XTX purge buttons are large and easy to use. Progressive 2-stage bleed: press the bleed on the side for a lower flow rate, useful when more control is needed such as filling lift bags, then press the centre for the maximum bleed effect, i.e. when you want to drain the water from the second stage,
- - The large venturi lever has a soft rubber handle, making it easier to find and use. The lever reduces the entry of sand and therefore resists any possible friction, allowing for smooth operation.
- - The easy-to-grip opening force control knob allows the diver to maintain control.
- - The second stage is manufactured with active infection protection. All moulded parts are produced with an additive that kills Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), protects against E-Coli, bacteria and fungi, and is also highly effective against viruses, moulds, yeast and algae.
- - The silicone exhalation valve improves the breathing performance of the regulator.
- - The Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw fatigue.
- - A heat exchanger (patented) that surrounds the valve mechanism, dissipates cold caused by gas expansion while drawing heat from the surrounding water.
- - Convertible right or left hand.
1st and 2nd stages, octopuses, pressure gauges and regulator hoses, valves and cylinders are category 3 PPE. Assembling these components requires special knowledge and skills, and sometimes special tools, which are only available to trained technicians.
