APEKS MTX-R 1st stage with rotating turret and 5th MP port

 

Combining rugged, military-grade engineering with the super-smooth breathing for which Apeks regulators are renowned, the MTX-R is the regulator that lets you explore more. Like the entire MTX range, the MTX-R withstands continuous flow rates, even in the coldest temperatures.

Can be used in very cold temperatures (below 10°C). The innovative overmoulded end cap, diaphragm and forged body of the first stage ensure optimum thermal performance.

During descent, overcompensation allows air at medium pressure in the hose to flow faster than at ambient pressure. This results in better performance at depth.

Equipped with a forged rotating turret with parallel medium pressure outlets for better hose orientation. The fifth 3/8" UNF medium pressure outlet has a protective cap for when not in use. The HP outlets are angled for optimal hose organization and easy connection of emitters.

Unique over-compensated diaphragm design, as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a faster rate than ambient air. The result is superior performance at depth.
